WeaveGrid uses the information we gather from your vehicle to determine how much energy you use to charge at home. This information is combined with your PG&E electricity rate to estimate your charging costs.
While WeaveGrid aims to provide an estimate of your home charging costs, the charging costs provided are approximate and do not include taxes, fees, discounts, or rate riders. For example, if you’re participating in any program that affects your rates, such as a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Program, PG&E’s Smart Rate program, PG&E’s Medical Baseline program, or PG&E’s CARE and FERA programs, these will not be reflected in your estimated charging costs.
If you’re a solar customer with PG&E, your charging costs will only include estimated energy charges, and you won’t pay for these charges until your annual true-up. If you’re on a rate plan with different prices for various usage tiers, the cost estimates you see in WeaveGrid will reflect the lowest cost tier.
